IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE HISTORY OF MOLOKANS IN AZERBAIJAN

Abstract. The object of research of this work is the Molokans, an emerging sect in the late 60s of the XVIII century in Romanovskaya Russia among state peasants. The article shows the history of the settlement of the Molokans in Azerbaijan, their area of distribution in the country and the degree of knowledge of the problem. Considering the Molokans as an “especially harmful” sect, the Russian Empire considered it appropriate to remove these sectarians from the central provinces of Russia and settle in the conquered lands, in this case on the territory of Azerbaijan. By order of the State Council of October 20, 1830, they were brought into the country. Initially, the Molokan sectarian settlements were created on privately owned lands, which had been selected from representatives of the highest Muslim class, who opposed the conquest of the Azerbaijani lands by the Russian Empire, pursued a targeted colonial policy, “diluting” the highest social category of the country’s population. On the basis of a wide factual material, the author paid attention to the existing and newly formed subgroups of the Molokans in the country. Analyzing this question, the author comes to the conclusion that in order to establish political power in the conquered country, the Russian Empire for the implementation of colonial policy in the said burial includes the social base of Russian sectarians, in this case the Molokans.

Keywords: Turkmenchay Treaty, Molokans, sectarians, jumpers, whips, Bakinsky province, mega-region.

THE IMPACT OF THE UNIVERSAL STATE EXAM ON THE EDUCATION OF THE YOUNG GENERATION

Abstract. The relevance of this research is determined by the negative implications that have appeared over time since such form (the universal state exam) of assessment was introduced. When evaluating any social experiment there should be an understanding of the social cost. The purpose of our article is to describe the social cost of the universal state exam (USE) for society in general and in developing the educational potential of the young generation. In this researchwe have usedthe approach of the qualitative social science: the narrative interview, the writing tradition, and the improvised story-telling. We have defined the concept of “educational potential” and justified the use of qualitative methodology within this investigation. Based on the analysis of transcripts of informants we have identified areas of concern when carrying out performance assessment of the secondary school graduates through such form of control as the universal state exam (USE). We have revealed the general trends in the state and the development of the educational potential of the young generation. The necessity to withdraw that exam as a form of assessment, which positives are fewer than its negatives, has well been justified. The authors of the research have concluded that the implementation of such form of assessment as the universal state exam has led to the disruption of the educational system of the secondary school itself. The result being a great decrease in the depth of subjects that are not included in the state exam. There has gradually developed a trend among students for losing the capacity for adequate communication: school graduates are not literate in writing and reading, they are not capable of correctly expressing their own thoughts. With such uneven “baggage” of knowledge school graduates apply for various professions in their further education. Entering higher educational institutions based on the results of the universal state exams has in fact crossed out such important process as career guidance. Most graduates are guided by the number of points that will allow entering any specialty. The developing tutoring led to manifestations of corruption, created an economic burden on families where there are school children, and increased the factor of social inequality for those wishing to receive higher education. All this led to the destruction of the educational potential of young people.

Key words: educational potential, USE, narrative interview, improvised story-telling, expert evaluation, traditional analysis.

TO THE QUESTION OF NATURAL AND SOCIAL-CULTURAL DETERMINANTS OF THE COMMUNICATION PROCESS IN THE CONTEXT OF BASIC CIVILIZATION MODELS

Abstract. The article assumes an analysis of the natural and sociocultural factors of the development of the main civilizational models – the western and eastern and, as a result, the identification of the basis of the specificity of communication in societies of this type. Since communication is realized through social interaction and is determined by the social connections of this or that society, the authors substantiate the determining factors of the development of the West (favorable climatic conditions, good natural resources, relatively small territory, openness for innovations, high level of economic development, private property, Catholicism and Protestantism, etc.) and the East (conservatism of agricultural culture, cattle breeding, tribal organization, seasonality is active ty, undivided man from nature, the uneven distribution of natural resources, teamwork, ideokratizm etc.). These factors are the technological component of the development of the West and the human component of the development of the East, and determine the nature and characteristics of social ties in the societies in question. They contribute to the formation of such features of a Western person as workaholism (constant implementation of labor activity), individualism (lack of collectivism, personal and economic freedom), rationalism, extroversion (openness to the outside world and to changes in oneself), selectivity (expectation effective result of activity), and such traits of an eastern person as collectivism, introverted consciousness, idealism, passivity, conservatism). In Western society, social ties are more formalized and regulated, and are also focused more on personal success than on collectivism and traditions characteristic of the East. Using reparative-comparative analysis, using the methods of analogies, extrapolations, genetic, systemic, structurally functional, the authors substantiate the basic (purpose-oriented and value-rational) types of social action as the basis of interpersonal communication in Western and Eastern environments. Assuming that all cultures are ecological in nature, therefore all sociocultural components are objective and natural, we can assume various types of human relationships depending on the cumulative effect of a complex of various factors.

SEPARATE EDUCATION OF BOYS AND GIRLS WITH CONSIDERATION THEIR LIFE IMPLEMENTATIONS BY THE SYSTEM OF EDUCATION VOLKOV G.N.

Abstract. The article deals with the ideas and attitude of the founder of ethnopedagogics Volkov G. N. to the problem of differentiated approach in education of boys and girls with consideration their life implementations. Education is considered as a purposeful and organized process of preparation for life. Depending on whether the teacher – educator will educate them correctly, with knowledge of the nature of children of different sexes, the development potential of these children will be formed in the future, as well as the life realization of their female and male purpose.

In the education of boys and girls with regard to life realizations, G.N. Volkov saw the main positive aspect – the help to future young men and girls, future men and women in acquiring the ability for self-realization. The value of the goal, which is to increase the inequality of the education of boys and girls, is their happy life in the future.

Gennady Volkov considered a complete family, where three generations live, as a primary and important link in the general chain of action programs aimed at the harmonious development of boys and girls. In a family, only a good mother can put in the daughter those positive feminine qualities and qualities that are in the mother herself, and only the responsible father can teach his son the same. The older generation (grandparents), showing love and respect for the younger generation, will transmit life wisdom.

The national teacher attaches great importance to the self-education of children, to the knowledge of their own internal natural differences; to labor education, where their creative abilities, way of thinking, male and female character traits are revealed in the process of labor activity.

The ethnopedagogue G. N. Volkov is sure that a positive example and the authority of a teacher- an educator, his lifestyle, his good intentions, correct pedagogical actions will help to form the knowledge and skills in building meaningful relationships between boys and girls.

The issues of “separate” upbringing of children were carried out and continued by scientists of various fields of activity (philosophers, teachers, psychologists, sociologists, etc.) and all of them are convinced that taking gender differences in education into account is a necessary condition for mental health of children and for their happy future.

Keywords: separate differentiated education of boys and girls, the nature of the sexes, consideration of life implementations, harmonious development.

COMPETITION OF PROJECT WORKS AS A MEANS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF SUBJECT-LANGUAGE INTEGRATED TRAINING

Abstract. The article analyzes the competition of design work for third-year students of the Moscow Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a form of training and presentation skills development in the framework of subject-oriented teaching of English. It is higher educational institutions that become the platform on which students perfect their skills for a successful presentation, which, in combination with a high level of foreign language skills, become a competitive advantage in finding a job and moving up the career ladder. The subject-oriented approach to the study of a foreign language, taking into account the direction of professionalization, allows us to offer teachers specific recommendations on the design of discourse, as well as real means of increasing its effectiveness. In addition to the expansion and deepening of knowledge in the professional field, the competition provided students with the opportunity to improve such competencies as analysis, synthesis, comparison and synthesis, the ability to reasonably defend their position. Experience has shown that such contests realize both creative potential and language skills, stimulate healthy competition and, which is especially important for international students, develop public speaking skills, therefore the role of presentation in the learning process is difficult to overestimate.
