ABOUT ONE ASPECT OF THE FOUNDATION OF RUSSIAN MONASTERIES IN THE 14 – 15TH CENTURIES

Abstract. This article is devoted to the study of one of the aspects of the “monastic revival” of the 14–15th centuries, namely, the question of determining the starting point of the creation of a Russian medieval monastery based on hagiographic sources. On the basis of Russian hagiography, the concept identifying the construction of a church with the foundation of a monastery is critically analyzed. Of the entire volume of the lives of the founders of the monasteries of the 14 – 15th centuries, the author has identified only a few monuments in which the appearance of the monastery is associated with the creation of the church. It is unlikely that these news reflect a common practice, they also don’t lie in line with a single hagiographic tradition.

“FIRE EXECUTIONS” OF HERETICS IN THE CULTURAL PARADIGM OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE XV – BEGINNING OF THE XVI CENTURIES

Abstract. The subject of this article is the development in the official ideology of the Grand Duchy of Moscow in the second half of the 15th – early 16th centuries ideas about the need to burn heretics. This problem is revealed on the basis of the study of journalistic works and canonical texts that mention burning. The aim of the study is to show that it was during this period that the idea of the need for a harsh response to heretics, up to the application of severe executions to them, becomes the key motive for the work of Moscow scribes.

Strengthening the political positions of Moscow Rus in the second half of the 15th century was accompanied by active ideological work aimed at creating the image of the Grand Duke of Moscow as a defender of Orthodoxy. For this, in the early 1460s “The Word is Chosen from the Holy Scriptures” is created – the most important journalistic monument, glorifying the grand-princely policy and condemning the Union of Florence and Metropolitan Isidore. It is here that the need for the burning of heretics is mentioned for the first time with reference to some “apostolic rules”. At the same time, a fragment of the “Word of the Chosen One”, containing the phrase about the burning of heretics, continued to be repeatedly reproduced in Moscow annals of the late 15th – early 16th centuries. Apparently, its actualization was facilitated by the campaign against the “Judaizers”, which ended with the burning of a number of heretics in 1504.

The above reference to “apostolic canons” refers to the Pilot Books. The only text about burnings contained in the Kormchay is compiled in the 14th century the apocryphal “Rule 165 of St. father”, threatening with fire not only the enemies of church land ownership, but also everyone who inflicts “offenses” on the Church. Considering this, as well as the rather wide popularity of the Rule, which was quoted by such enemies of heretics as Gennady Novgorodsky and Joseph Volotsky, it was suggested that it was the “Rule 165 of St. father” was used in editing that part of the “Word is Chosen”, which referred to the burning of heretics.

MANIPULATION POTENTIAL OF IDENTIFICATION IN THE FOREIGN PRESS ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE NEW YORK TIMES

Abstract. The subject of this article is the hidden meanings in the headlines and texts of articles of one of the most authoritative American publications – The New York Times. The headlines and publications that use the manipulation technique of “identifying”, in particular, Russian political and public figures with reference groups of persons known to the American reader, individual politicians, are analyzed. The purpose of the study is to identify the source study potential of manipulative techniques used in The New York Times in 1980-90, using the example of identification.

Thanks to the use of the identification technique in the course of the work, it was possible to discover a number of hidden information in the texts of an American newspaper, which were aimed at manipulating the reader.

For the first time, among the headlines and texts of The New York Times, the method of identification was revealed as an independent manipulative technique that allows you to form a certain image of a political or public figure (and sometimes an alliance, organization or an entire country). The result of the work was the identification of a number of manipulation properties of the identification technique, as well as the development of a step-by-step scheme for working with the technique, which can be used by a source researcher to detect hidden information in periodicals. For the qualitative processing of the content of materials on the topic of research and the identification of patterns, the method of content analysis was used.

SECRETARY OF STATE A.A. MAKAROV AND OTHER CANDIDATES FOR THE POST OF MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS IN PUBLIC OPINION (SEPTEMBER 1911)

Abstract. In September 1911, after the death of P.A. Stolypin, 54-year-old Alexander Alexandrovich Makarov became the new Minister of Internal Affairs. He was to take an active part in the attempt of the new government to establish relations with the parliament. In addition, elections to the State Duma were to be held in the approaching 1912, and their successful holding was also one of the tasks assigned to the new Minister of Internal Affairs. The tense domestic political situation demanded from Makarov not only a firm will and consistent actions, but also a certain political dexterity. In this situation, the image of the new Minister of Internal Affairs in public opinion was of particular importance, namely, what kind of reputation A.A. Makarov had in socio-political circles. In this regard, of particular interest is the story of Makarov’s appointment to one of the key posts in the empire, accompanied by various publications in the press, assumptions and rumors, as well as reflected in the pages of memoirs of contemporaries.

PIERRE CROSAT (1665-1740). FINE ARTIST, PATRONS AND COLLECTOR

Abstract. The artistic environment of Paris at the end of the 17th-18th centuries included not only masters of various specializations, but also people who, not practicing art, were interested in them. We are talking about theorists, critics, patrons and collectors. One of the most significant figures was the financier Pierre Crozat, who patronized the artists, collected a large-scale collection of works of art, and organized regular meetings of connoisseurs in his house. The purpose of the article is to analyze all the diverse activities of Crozat and its significance for the Parisian cultural environment of the 18th century. The patron’s relations with French and foreign masters, the composition and quality of his collection, and his social initiatives will be considered. The relevance of the study is determined by the absence in Russian historiography of detailed works dedicated to Pierre Crozat, despite the fact that his collection of paintings was bought by Catherine II in 1772 and is kept in the State Hermitage Museum. The study is based on French-language scientific literature and authentic sources, such as the catalog of drawings from the Crozat collection, compiled by P.-J. Mariette in 1741, the diaries of the Italian artist Rosalba Carriere, the memoirs of E.-F. Gersin and the works of Comte de Quelus. Some of these sources have been translated into Russian, others the author has read in the original. Visual material is also involved: architectural plans, maps, paintings by masters of the period under consideration.

MIKHAIL IVANOVITCH VENYUKOV: BETWEEN EAST AND WEST

Abstract. The relevance of the article is due to the need to analyze historical sources obtained as a result of geographical research in the second half of the 19th century. Purpose: to determine the relationship between the eastern and western vectors of scientific research by the Russian traveler M. I. Venyukov. Methods: the historical approach allowed us to consider the formation of M.I. Venyukov as a multifaceted scientist in the process of many years of research activity. An integrated approach contributed to attracting the maximum number of scientific sources from related fields of knowledge, which made it possible to fully appreciate the scientist’s contribution to the development of domestic science in the 19th century. Results: based on the analysis of historical material, as well as the works of representatives of related fields of natural science, social and humanitarian knowledge, it was found that the contribution of M.I. Venyukov in the study of Siberia, Central Asia and the Far East was significant and necessary for the progressive development of Russia. The article deals with the western and eastern vectors that are combined in the scientific activities of a geographer and a traveler. In the modern foreign policy context and in connection with the anniversary date, Mikhail Ivanovich is often mentioned among the people who set the course to the East for our country. However, it is relatively rarely mentioned that, as a scientist and prominent public figure, he was influenced by the Western macro-region and repeatedly included various issues related to the West in the scope of his scientific interests. At the same time, it is noted that throughout his unconditionally active scientific work and public life, M.I. Venyukov remained a devoted fighter for the development of Russia, who tirelessly defended the state and public good of his country. Scientific novelty: for the first time, the Western vector of M.I. Venyukov. Practical significance: the main provisions and conclusions of the article can be used when considering issues related to the geopolitical development of Russia in the second half of the 19th century.

MUSICAL TRAINING OF BALLROOM DANCE TEACHERS

Abstract. Unlike teachers-choreographers, who conduct classes accompanied by an accompanist, only a phonogram can be used in ballroom dance lessons. Consequently, for each meeting with students, the ballroom dance teacher will have to analyze, identify, collect musical material, correlating it with the educational and methodological plan for mastering the program. In acquiring the necessary professional skills, future ballroom dance teachers must master the discipline “Fundamentals of Music Theory”.

SOCIAL REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF A PSYCHOLOGIST

Abstract. The article outlines the main directions of ideas of a social nature in the context of a holistic image of the social image of the world and social ideas about the profession of a psychologist among working psychologists and psychology students studying at the Faculty of Psychology. The article describes the results of the study, which reflect the revealed contradictions between the real content of the professional activity of a psychologist and their social representations among students of the Faculty of Psychology.

The study of relevant scientific literature has shown that at the present stage, social ideas about the profession of a psychologist have distinctive features, including from the subjects of professional activity of psychologists and future subjects of professional activity of students-psychologists.

The article presents the opinions of scientists of the national school on social representations – K.A. Abulkhanova-Slavskaya, A.I. Dontsova, T.P. Zinchenko, A.I. Nazarova, A.N. Slavic and foreign scientific school – S. Moskovichi, V. Duaz, G. Tezhfel. The article reflects social ideas about professional activity and subjective ideas about it in the scientific works of B.G. Anan’eva, E.A. Klimov and his students.

The results of the study showed differences in social perceptions of the professional activities of a psychologist in a fairly significant relation to professional activities. It was revealed that working psychologists-practitioners consider it necessary to carry out educational work, and students-psychologists consider it insignificant. The second difference is the importance of acquiring knowledge by future psychologists in the disciplines of labor psychology, psychology of professional activity and social psychology among practicing psychologists in the first place, unlike students-psychologists. The third identified difference in social perceptions of responsibility: psychologists-practitioners are unanimous in their opinion that social responsibility is obligatory in the performance of their professional activities, in contrast to psychology students, who demonstrated a very diffuse social perception of this. All other studied ideas about the profession did not give any differences. Recommendations were developed for the teaching staff on the inclusion in the teaching of disciplines of the vectors of formation of specific social ideas about the profession of a psychologist, corresponding to the passport of a psychological specialty.

DYNAMICS OF CONCEPTS ABOUT THE MORAL DEVELOPMENT OF A PERSON IN RUSSIAN PSYCHOLOGY OF EDUCATION

Abstract. The study of the features of the moral development of the individual in the domestic psychology of education, which is a section of pedagogical psychology that studies the patterns of active, purposeful formation of the personality, is of great importance. The modern period is marked by significant achievements in many spheres of life. However, there are crisis phenomena in the development of society, interethnic conflicts, wars. Psychological danger is represented by defects in the moral sphere associated with a lack of spirituality and the alienation of a number of individuals from the values of culture. Therefore, the study of the dynamics and transformation of ideas about the moral development of the individual in connection with the solution of the problems of preserving and reproducing the values of national culture and science is of particular relevance. The originality of the domestic psychology of education is manifested in the fact that its formation is associated with the study of ideas about the moral development of the individual in the learning process. Unlike foreign science, the main attention in the domestic psychology of upbringing is paid not to cognitive, but to the motivational and needful foundations of moral behavior, which contributes to understanding the real behavior of children and adolescents, their activities and relationships with adults and peers. These approaches were clearly manifested at the stages of the scientific development of psychology and are further developed in the modern period. The psychology of education, emerging from the depths of human knowledge, again turns to its sources, becomes open to knowledge about the moral development of children and adolescents. In this regard, we trace trends in the dynamics and transformation of ideas about the moral development of the individual in the domestic psychology of education in the nineteenth and twenty-first centuries.

VALUE AND SENSITIVE ATTITUDES AND PECULIARITIES OF BEHAVIOR OF SALES MANAGERS

Abstract. The modern labor market is saturated with specialists of different levels, but at the same time, it is difficult to find someone who is ready to stay in the company and work out the tasks assigned to him in a quality manner. For companies, it becomes important to select employees who would be as effective as possible in their workplace and, at the same time, quickly adapt to it. One of the positions of the effectiveness of the organization and its employee is customer orientation. The presented study reveals the understanding of the interaction between a sales manager working “on the incoming flow of customers” and a client as a team work to achieve the client’s goals. The study was carried out with the participation of 39 women aged 24 to 45 years (mean age 31 years) working as sales managers for the incoming customer flow. The emphasis in the study is on identifying the features of value and semantic attitudes, existential fulfillment, strategies for behavior in conflict situations and the role repertoire of sales managers working “on the incoming stream of customers”. It was revealed that among sales managers in the role repertoire of team interaction with the client, the preference for the roles of “harmonizer” and “implementer” dominates. The interrelation of value-semantic attitudes, features of behavior and subjective feeling of existential fulfillment of managers with preferred roles in the team interaction “sales manager – client” is shown. The data obtained will make it possible to predict the behavior of a new employee accepted into the company for the position of sales manager, depending on his characteristics presented in this article.

DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR OF MINORS AS CAUSE AND EFFECT RELATIONSHIP OF THEIR CRIMINALIZATION

Abstract. In the article, the authors consider the aspect of the influence of destructive groups on minors. The scientific literature is analyzed. The types of adolescent subcultures are identified, as well as external (social disadvantage of the family; conflict situation in the family; violation of communication of the interaction of a minor with peers, in connection with which there is a primary form of maladaptation and deviation, etc.) and internal factors (low self-esteem of a minor; suggestibility; immaturity; a certain need for a minor to be in a significant group for him; feelings of social injustice, etc.), which may contribute to the involvement of a minor in destructive groups. It is schematically presented how the destructive behavior of minors in relation to themselves, as well as to others and the external environment manifests itself.
